1. What services does StridexRx provide?
StridexRx offers expert-led telehealth physical therapy (for California residents), injury prevention coaching, movement assessments, custom strengthening programs, and virtual gait analysis for runners and active individuals. We also offer a monthly membership for ongoing support and a curated shop of performance and recovery tools.
2. Do I need a referral to start physical therapy?
No! In California, you have direct access to a physical therapist without a referral. However, if your condition falls outside our scope or requires further medical evaluation, we’ll refer you to the appropriate provider.
3. Are your services covered by insurance?
StridexRx operates out-of-network and does not bill insurance directly. We provide superbills you can submit to your insurance for potential reimbursement. All services are eligible for HSA/FSA payment.
4. How does telehealth physical therapy work?
Sessions are conducted via secure video call. Your PT will assess your movement, discuss your symptoms, and guide you through exercises, modifications, and strategies in real time. You’ll receive a personalized exercise plan afterward.
5. What’s included in the membership?
Our Elite Membership ($149/month) includes:
- 1 initial consultation/evaluation
- Unlimited chat + video response consultations
- Weekly custom exercise programs
- Monthly gait analysis (via video submission)
- Priority access to scheduling and discounts on services/products, courses
6. What is a gait analysis and who is it for?
A gait analysis reviews your walking or running mechanics through video to identify potential movement inefficiencies or injury risks. It’s ideal for runners, walkers, and athletes. You’ll receive a personalized report with findings, drills, and recommendations.
7. What’s the difference between physical therapy and injury prevention coaching?
- PT is a clinical, licensed healthcare service (CA only).
- Coaching focuses on movement, training support, and injury prevention (available to clients nationwide). Both involve customized plans and expert guidance.
8. Can I use your services if I’m not in California?
Yes! While physical therapy is limited to California residents, anyone in the U.S. can access our injury prevention coaching, strength plans, gait analysis, and membership program.
9. How do I access my programs or communicate with my PT?
We use a secure platform called PracticeBetter where you can:
- Chat with your therapist
- Book appointments
- Access your programs and session notes
- Upload videos for review
10. How do I book a session or get started?
Click on “Book a Consult” or “Join Membership” from our home page. First-time users can schedule a Free 15-Min Discovery Call to see what’s right for them.
11. What kind of products do you sell in your shop?
We sell hand-selected recovery tools and mobility equipment like resistance bands, massage balls, mobility kits, and Gua Sha tools. Every item is PT-approved and can be used alongside our programs or independently.
12. Do I have to be a patient to shop from your store?
No! Our shop is open to the public. Whether you’re an athlete, a desk worker, or just looking for high-quality rehab tools, you can purchase without being a client.
13. Are your digital products (like video routines or guides) included in the membership?
Yes, members get access to many of our digital resources at no extra cost. However, some bundles and courses may be offered as separate purchases for non-members.
14. Do you offer refunds?
Due to the nature of our services, we do not offer refunds on sessions or digital content once delivered. Physical product refunds depend on condition and reason for return. Please see our full return policy for details. You can also cancel membership programs at any time.
